Aqui
An exhaustive search of the area was conducted, but to no avail. It was assumed that the entire Chapter was destroyed. - As I recall Exterminatus uses viral warheads that renders a planet lifeless, also making it uninhabitable for a period of time; how would a search be condcuted? Also, why was the entire Chapter present in the first place? Any capital ships would most likely have had a Marine compliment. D'oh :( I forgot about the Viral properties of the War heads. Perhaps there is some other ordinance/way of brining them low. A Powerplant that goes critical perhaps? That way the evac could still go ahead and still leave the Rayvens/Reavers behind? And that they were intent on destroying those who had in their eyes betrayed them...... - A bit too much like the tag line for a movie, also use of the elipses is usually confined to a three and doesn't really work in this instance. It's almost a Furmanism B) I'll have to reword that somehow..... Not a lot is known about The Reavers... It is unknown whom the fourth Chapter is, although theories abound as to whom it is. - Much like with cheating on your missus, someone always knows. I'm trying to tie in the Steel Wings as the fourth Chapter. But haven't worked out a way of dropping hints without being totally obvious. Another thing to reword/work. In the Beliefs section you end up talking less about the actual beliefs and more about how they are or are not like this Chapter or that. Another thing on the list  Recent Actions - Give that kind of thing a miss, if you want something included give a description of a pivotal action - something that brought them to the brink of destruction or was a great vicotry against Imperium, either way make it important and describe it. I think it'll come out and maybe reworked as a sidebar. I want to describe what they have been doing after reconsolidating, and how they've been doing it. Ultimately, it shouldn't be as important as the rest of it..... ...reckless risk... - There isn't really anything like a safe risk, risk itself is dangerous... Kinda jars me out of the mindset. On the list as well ^_^ Tactics - If it's about tactics, why do you end on a discussion of organisation? As above. The organisation has changed little from the time of their founding. It would seem that despite their hatred of the Imperium, the tactics that brought both themselves and that of their parent Chapter success, suffice, a delicious irony considering their hatred of Guilliman and the Imperium in general. - I answer this with the following: "We were mistaken to follow the teachings of Guilliman. It made us weak, inflexible and impotent. The Gods have shown us our true path. We will pave it with the bones of whom ever get in our way!" - Rhomanek Daspore, the Guider of fates. I want to keep the former in. I'll take the latter out and give Rhomanek Daspore something else to say. Thanks CJJ - it's really helped ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206029-the-bahltimyr-reavers-traitor-marines/page/2/#findComment-2577424 Share on other sites

Brother Tagus Cerebrum
Exterminatus isn't always viral warheads only there are other methods. The additional side bar entry was really well done, and the rest of the IT is done well. Shinzaren
Viral Warheads is one option. The other commonly employed is to use Cyclonic Torpedoes. The power of the torpedoes is somewhat unknown, at least to me. Still, what is known is that they are ridiculously powerful, enough so to ignite atmospheres, and thus eliminate all life. I'm guessing they are a more conventional explosive, just on a devastatingly large scale. There is also Orbital Bombardment, which uses the raw ship to ship firepower of the Imperial Navy or Astartes Fleet, aiming at the surface of the planet in a prolonged assault which scours all life from a planet. The last option is a two-stage torpedo, one of a class of weapons designed for worlds that are already completely devoid of atmosphere or biological life. They are used to destroy planet completely, such as Necron Tomb-Worlds. They burrow into the surface and detonate outwards, shattering the planet. This completely removes all possibility of threat from a planet completely.
