Personally I don't like the style of many of the new Blood Angels kits. Something about those wrist mounted weapons looks wrong. Far to bulky and cumbersome to be mounted on the wrist. That aside, I think the colour you chose for their armour is great. A really deep metallic orange makes a change from the normal gold or red I usually see on BA. The wings look great too.

Where did you get the parts for the DCCW? Nice work on the wings and skull motif on his sarcophacus (SP?). I can't see his ranged weapons anywhere though.

Love the look of your stuff, all superbly done!

Could you provide us with the details of how you got that reddish-orange metallic color on your Sanguinary Guard? I'd really like to use that in the future, it's a stunning mix and very unique.

Cheers for the comments guys. Glad you like them so far.

The saw's on the drea come form the pld metal ork Dread. I had them in my bits box but you can still order them from GW.

The gold starts off with a mix of scrorched brown and shinning gold. Add a few layers of highlighting by adding more shinning gold and then you get the dark look by giving it about 5 or 6 layers of devlan mud or until you're happy with it.

Very nice painting, Fracture!

The suits don't strike me as something the Flesh Tearers would wear, maybe the Blood Angels presented their successors with Sanguinary Guard battle plate upon their inception. That said, I do really like your use of the black with the dark bronze of their armor. It looks excellent, while distinguishing them from their Blood Angel counterparts.

I love the fresh scars on the war-plates, they really stand out against the darkened gold. The gems really contrast well with the armor also. Chaos helms are always a nice sight on loyalists.

One thing that really stands out to me with the SG is the power weapons. I really like how you went with a darkened, minimalistic approach to it. It really goes well with the black from the wings and the over all 'darker' flavor of the Flesh Tearers.

Only gripes I have are that the chest scroll on the skull-helmed marine is bare (something should be there, 'Mortis,' 'Cretacia,' a name, something!) and, of course, Batman nips <_<

I know what you mean about the large scroll Haunter. Itwas something I gave some thought too. Thing is my free hand is terrible, to the point where I think it will look worse with writing than without. Maybe I'll ask one of my more free hand able friends to do something for me.
