The Crimson Tigers Return

Recommended Posts

The time has come to pick up my paintbrush and bring my army to its full glory... before i let it get any bigger.

so here is a photo of the marines that have been completed getting repainted so you know what I'm going for here

sorry its a little out of focus.

as you can see i need to do a little work pinning some arms on and the likes

and here is what i have to paint..

there is also a crusader that is still in pieces to be painted as well.

so wish me luck as i attempt to mass paint an army!

in the interest of getting these repainted faster what is the quality of the GW airbrush like?

Good Luck indeed. Keep us updated on how it goes.

As for the Airbrush, I haven't used the GW one, but I can only assume its mediocre. You can get a decent one from any LHS for an affordable price, and if you care for it properly, it will last you indefinetly. Aztec and Badger make all sorts of different kinds, and they can be very affordable to stupidly expensive :D There are plently others as well, but those are my two suggestions.

well an update before i go back to my shift and wont get much painting done for 5 days

since starting the repaint I have got all the metal models that have been painted pinned back together (something that i never use to do)

added magnets to the land speeder stand... amazing how strong these little buggers are.

and painted my 5 scouts

and 6 marines to form my devastator squad

including adding magnets for there weapons (i only have the missile launchers from the old tactical boxes atm)

my current goal is to get all the red amour done for the whole army (minus the land raider as i have found i am missing a few parts) before moving on to the details.
