Sixtyten
First I want to say that I have searched the forum for an answer. Didnt find any. Searched some painters websites. Didnt find any. I would be very glad for any advice you might give me or any link/guide you might share about how to paint/make blood. Not Tamiya. (Just waiting for some PVA/red paint testers to dry.) Dave the Twisted
I like doing blood with GW Red Gore with a liberal wash of brown ink. Even better that the Windsor and Norton ink I use is kinda shiny so it makes it look very fresh.
Durus
Red Ink for fresh blood, and Red Ink mixed with a bit of black or brown for dried/drying blood. Though I'm personally not too fond of the methods, this tutorial by GW might be interesting for you as well.
Whitefireinferno
Ive used a tiny amout of BLood red mixed with alot of Baal red wash to make some decent blood http://i991.photobucket.com/albums/af31/Litany_of_hate/40k%20other/Tau%20Farsight%20Enclave/004.jpg So yeah some blood *also not sure if Orkz bleed red but Red is the universal blood colour*
CarbonCopy
Some heavy body acrylic medium + red ink + black/brown ink (to taste). Thin as needed with water (not much, if any) depending on intended application.
stinkenheim
I use some red gore, brown ink and gloss varnish mixed with water. Make it thin so you can build up different shades of the colour over multiple layers. Then add some black into the mix to get even more depth to the colours. Kurgan the Lurker
One of the best blood/gore tutorials I have seen: http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23644
mitchell93
I used the red foundation paint with blood red stabbed in it with a rough brush; when dry the whole thing painted in the citadel paint on gloss varnish. It creates a congealed blood look.
