Grey Mage
Twin Linked means theyre fire is about as accurate as a GHs, and is helpful. And of course, T5 is wonderful, particularly when theyre likely to get the charge. I am a bit slow. I can't for the life of me find anything in the Space Wolves codex which says Swiftclaws get twin-linked anything. Space Marine Bikes come with a twin linked bolter, Swiftclaws ride Space Marine Bikes. We also get twin linked assault cannons on some of our landraiders, twin linked heavy bolters on others, twin linked autocannons on our dreads too! TLLC on the Annihilators.... etc etc. Theres just no seperate profile for a twin linked weapon. While Space Wolves, like a bunch of other groups, are Space Marines, that does not mean they follow the Space Marine Codex. There are tons of things vanilla Space Marines can do, or can take, that Space Wolves cannot. So why are we assuming that Space Wolf bikes are an exception? And the Space Wolves codex clearly tells us that we get these twin linked weapons. The codex says nothing about twin linked weapons on a bike. SeanyPrawny
Page 62 Codex: Space wolves. Space marine bike. Read it. I honestly don't even believe you were arguing that for any other reason than to have an argument. And you presented it, thank you. I got off track earlier because of the vague round about statement used to answer my question the first time. Page numbers are so much better... I need to keep reminding myself that GW doesn't write their books with any logical sense. Like it would have been a crime to write 'Space Marine Bike with twin-linked bolter' on page 90 or 33. Anywhoo, still not sure I am going to use these guys over other assault options...
