Grey Knights GM with Retinue

Recommended Posts

this is my grey knights GM named Brennus. hes made using the enginseers legs, gk top half, and the enginseers head. used a emperors champs' sword to make a nifty naginata. and a lot of inquisitor line icons, and purity seals.

over all they look good and table ready to beat some skulls in. the murals on there shoulder shields and the work on their weapons is very good i like those the most to be honest. of all the models you have done so far the sarge i seem to like the most mostly because of his axe. always do enjoy weapons that are different then the norm for units.

as for bad... i'll be honest i see a few things that made me... erk a little and i do not mean to offend just as you say giving comments.

1. to begin your grand master looks nice he has some neat conversions on em ... just he seems way way to cluttered with stuff. almost looking like you added more to give it more of a conversion feel... then added more on that to cover mistakes etc etc.

2. as much as i like the justicar you have for your terminators there is a part of em that i... well really don't like and its his head... i don't know fully what it is but it sticks out like a sore thumb to me and just doesn't feel like it fits.

3. and lastly as much as i know the grey knights are 'silver' and people like to give different shades to em your silver looks like it didn't go on easy at all. like you added a few to many layers. it works in a way i almost would think you need to take a quick run of badab black wash over em to darken the tone a little to make em seem a little more flush and give light light highlights in mythril silver or chainmail on the edges.
