evilpope
My friends were playing a game and one player was using Bjorn and had him join a unit of infantry is this legal? The only reason I am asking is that army builder allows this and doesn't complain about it. Which normal it does if you try and do something against the rules of 40k. Chengar Qordath
I'm pretty sure it's illegal; Bjorn does not have the Independent Character rule. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206916-dreadnought-joining-units/#findComment-2467966 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
bjorn (aside from being a vehicle) is not an IC so cannot join a unit. Don't trust things like Army Builder to be correct all the time, its a computer program and as such is prone to error. Army Builder is not official in any way- do yourself a favor and throw it out the window. Read your codex, and youll know whats going on. Seriously, its made by volunteers in their spare time, and they dont always agree with RAW, nor are they always consistent even when GW is. Not that GW is always consistent, but why make it worse?
