tahrikmili
I acquired a squad of AoBR tacticals I want to use in my Blood Angels army, but the shoulderpads have the tactical squad arrow markings on them.. I want to get rid of these arrows but I wasn't sure what the fastest and cleanest way would be. Is there an easy way to do this? Is it easy to remove and replace the shoulderpads completely? Durus
You can just cut the arrows down with a knife and file the rest smooth. There have been some people who sawed the inside of the pad out, cut the rim of a normal one off and glued the smooth pad in. Depends on what you prefer to work with. If you do quick search in WIP you should find a few threads about the AOBR marines and how to convert or spice them up. Hemal
You could shave off teh larger part of teh arrow and GS it level, and TBH I think that would look nicer, especially if you then sculpted on a blood-drop shape (or two depending on which company these are from..) UltraRich
Personally I'd look on a bitz site and but a load of death company pads as they are all covered in BA logos. What Id do is then use a knife to cut down the pad next to the body and across at the base of the pad where it meets the arm. This will leave you with a nice gap to glue your new BA pad into Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/206984-converting-aobr-tacticals-into-blood-angels/#findComment-2469701 Share on other sites
