Theovanni
For your viewing pleasure: one Sanguinor. I did this model in hopes that i would finish it in time to make some money when they were going for big bucks, but alas i had to take my time and be pokey about it. Now i have plans to paint up the Sanguinary Guard and do a diorama with everything together, we'll see... Anyhoo, here are the pics: http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z46/The...gs/100_1080.jpg http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z46/The...pg?t=1279814021 http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z46/The...pg?t=1279814021 http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z46/The...pg?t=1279814021 http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z46/The...pg?t=1279814021 This is my first time posting one of my works. Somar
it is a good looking mini that will look good on the table with a painted army around. good tabletop standard. Captain Conrad
Nicely painted, although to me he looks more like a statue than anything else, is that intentional? Theovanni
I wasn't going for a statue look. i originally was going to try to paint it using the nnm technique but i ended up just doing a simple custom mixed color and used washes pretty heavy. my next project, ashtoroath the grim being painted for my friend, will be much better. ill post some wips soon! Thanks for the feed back. hopefully he will look the best once the guard are done and they are all sitting together. does anyone know if there is a good guide for doing a diorama? augustmanifesto
I really like the true metalics on the armor, although I would like them that much more if you did a bit more shading or at least darkend the recesses :) The attention you gave to the tabbard, scroll, whatever that massive things is, really paid off. If you want to kick it up a notch, work some off-white and brown tones into the scroll thingy to create more depth. excellent table-top standard ! :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207041-recently-painted-sanguinor/#findComment-2471355 Share on other sites
