Chooser of the Slain model.

I have stumbled upon these two minis while looking for something to represent a Chooser of the Slain model. Since the Codex states that they often take the form of a Psyber-raven; it means that an eagle could pass for it as well. They are a bit expensive but since you only need one or two, I might think on getting one and cutting off the eagle and sticking it on a stone. It will still be smaller than the Rune Priest methinks.

I imagine Choosers could be made from whatever animal the Ironpriest/Runepriest has available at the time. Birds are probably the best for their ability to watch from skys or a high perch.

For those minis, I don't see why not, those are fine looking birdies. Maybe add a greenstuff bionic eye or somesuch.

Smaller isn't entirely clear. It seems they don't want a PA model as the Chooser. On thing to consider is that the smaller the model, the harder to trace LOS and so the less effective it is.

I use the servo skull from the dev box. Looks good painted up, is smaller and makes sense.

My only question is that the book says that the Chooser of the Slain is represented by a model smaller than the Rune Priest.

That mean smaller in height, right?

It can actually be the same size or smaller. Probably means the same size or smaller in each dimension.
