Nurgle Plaguereaper

This is my new Plaguereaper of Nurgle. As of now, I've magnetized most of the accessories so I can use it as a Nurgle Baneblade or a Nurgle Hellhammer. The Pus Cannon is not yet complete. See below!

Overhead with Pus Cannon (WIP)

I am planning on putting masking tape around the big tubes connecting the barrel to the turret, then covering it with skin like greenstuff. I used a cheap pen for the main barrel because I figured that something "spraying" should have something like a nozzel on the end, not a sphincter or big cannon hole.

Overhead Bucket

This one of the side buckets. It's magnetized to attatch where the rear sponsons would go. I plan on drilling out holes to connect something like corregated tubing or pipes to have it appear to be feeding the hull of the tank.

All of the greenstuff was pretty simple, but I plan on doing a lot more. I don't think I like most of the Nurgle "tentacles" that others seem to be so fond of, but I have always liked pus-y skin and such. The other white things look like popped pustules and are done with regular white glue with a drop of superglue added while it's still wet. It looks fabulous painted, which I hope to show you guys when complete.

Comments welcome!

I've added a lot more skin, but am still working on plans for my Pus Cannon.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make corregated tubing (besides the Defiler close combat weapon?)?

i think it looks great and its modular!

as for some tubing i would go to radio shack or somewhere equivelent and just look at some wires there. but i used the defiler cables myself as you can see lol. which to be honest are great. to get them to flex more i cut them apart and then scored inbetween the segments just a little bit before applying some heat gun action to get them to flex like i wanted. but other than that i cant really fathom what to make and still fit in with your tanks modular capabilities.

if your using just magnets to attach the barrels then using all green stuff over the whole barrel might make it too heavy for the magnets. you might need to making some sort of locking joint or use a pin when you swap barrels. you can get some cheap light cloth at art stores or some cheap thin bandage material and coat it lightly in plaster to wrap around the barrel. i think it really is easier to use and has great texture plus lighter.

but yeah as you can see i did it pretty much how you thought to do it so im just trying to maybe upgrade our similar ideas with some of my after thoughts

Hey debauchery, they nurgle pool with the pipes leading into it, do you have a tut on how you made that or know if one exists somewhere, im looking to recreate that look.

i dont have a tutorial but heres a rough diagram and explanation

1-i took really thin plastic card 2 " thick and wrapped it around a 20 oz soda bottle and cut to length then glued and rubber banded around bottle to keep the proper form

2- after it dried i cut out a secton approx 1 " thick from the bottom of the circle to fit over the track guard of the tank

3- i tacked the circle to the tank in position and then made a crescent piece to fit on the bottom of the cirle to give it a funnel look

4- i glued a piece of foam board inside the tank about a half inch from the top

5- i then glued all of those pieces to the tank and started glueing varying sized over lapping square type pieces as improvised armor plates for the precious toxic ammo for the puss cannon

6- i glued some various heads and limbs into the tank

7- i routed the pipes into the tank, scoring inbetween the segments of the pipes and using a heat gun to get them to flex into shape

8- i used hot glue in the tank to get the shape and covering of ooze. this worked well when going over the limbs and heads. this is much cheaper and a faster process than resin and best for medium sized areas to fill, imo.

i hope that helps and im sorry i cant provide a better tutorial. i normally work on a few things at a time so i forget to bust out the camera along the way because with children i try to get in as much knife/brush time as possible, but im getting better!
