new demon prince = primarch conversion

I was looking at the new demon prince model and had the idea to use it as the basis for a primarch conversion. I'm wondering about size relative to a space marine.

I actually had the same idea what with the enlarged power armor bits on the model.

 

For size there are some pictures online of the power armored DP next to some normal chaos marines you could search for

I would think that the DP kit would be good for a Primarch turned DP like Angron. For a normal Primarch, I would think the DP would be way too big.

Id agree that for Angron its probably a reasonable assumption to do this, although I'd argue he'd need a bigger sword and longer horns as well as some more Khornate bits maybe sourced from the Blood Thirster. However for Magnus or Mortarion, the DP model looks too bulky, and for Perturabo, it looks a tad to archaic, I'd imaging the metal DP kit is probably closer to the money for him, with a suitably iron-Warriors type head, possibly sourced from the Defiler, and of course his massive hammer.

seems like an ok idea as long as it's a DP primarch we're talking about.

 

I might buy a couple, one as just a converted DP (my flavour :verymad:) and one as perturabo. man I like that primarch :confused:
