JamesI
If tanks are moving over 6" they are not really doing much else. 0b Not with our fast tanks. Vindicators, Razorbacks (well, the twin las, twin heavy bolter, twin AC), rhinos, sponsonless preds are all just as effective shooting at 12 inches as they are at 6. Its pretty easy to move more than 6 to get the 6+ to hit while still shooting away.
Rellik
I find in order for Razors to be affective you have to draw fire away from them. I run a list that I have had good luck with because the enemy usually targets my other armour giving my razors a chance to close the distance a deliver their load without alot of resistance. my 1750pt list; Libby 100 SP x2 100 (3) 5 man RAS -melta -power weapon or lightning claw -Razor twin AC 10 man RAS -flamer x2 -power fist -Land Raider + multi melta (2) Baal with twin AC and HBs (2) Preds with auto cannon and Lascannon sides I find the AV 13 and 14 takes the heat off the Razors and I have the fire power to deal with any big threats befor I deploy the boys. Worked well so far. Only problem is only 25 troops.
BLACK BLΠFLY
You are right James. Having the Lucifer pattern chassis for the bulk of our tanks is indeed a big advantage for Blood Angels. 0b
SamaNagol
I run my Razorbacks with a variety of other nasty targets. A Razorback full of cheap DC on foot. Always scares people. 2 Vindicators. Always scares people. 3 individual Attack Bikes with MM also scares people. There's plenty to have a go at at 1500pts before my Razorbacks get taken down. And the fact that we can dash up to 18" to take objectives in the last turn is priceless also.
