Levitas
I've had amazing success with Thunder wolves, battering all before them and becoming a real fear unit. I kept it pretty simple with a pack of 4 lead by a lord with frost blade. Current: WL: Frost, runic armor, belt of russ, WTN, thunder wolf TWC X 4 1 with hammer 1 with storm shield 1 with melta bombs 1 standard I'm now toying with the idea of buying 2 more wolves and splitting into two packs of 3 each. So I would have... Possible: TWC X 3 1 with hammer 1 with storm shield 1 with melta bombs TWC X 3 1 with frost blade 1 with storm shield 1 standard I do really love the unit, just not sure if 3 is too small. But pie plates and dreads go though them quick. I've found you dont need many of them to ravage most things, provided you do a lil wound allocation shenanigans with the loadout. Any thoughts? here they are in action...raaaaar http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/S-AvvAtCohI/AAAAAAAAAMU/Seo2T-bEPYM/s1600/2_TWC_defiler.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207177-more-thunder/ Share on other sites
wolf363839
Instead of getting more, you might consider giving the pack more storm shields. It makes the unit much more sturdy and can handle literally anything that comes it's way.
