Rain
Hey there fellow followers of the most pungent Chaos god, I am considering adding a Plague Hulk to my army and as you may or may not know, it features a massive Great Unclean One stuck on top of a defiler. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any recipes for painting off white daemon skin similar to say http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/nphp1store.jpg or even their own recipe for plaguebearer/GUO skin and pictures, though I'm trying to stay away from green as I'm one of the few DG players that paints armor green so I want the daemon to stand out. Muskie
I've painted more Nurgle daemons than most. Check out this blog post and pick a favourite, or better still go to my webpage and look at some of the painting advice. I and others have written tutorials. My new blog has some different coloured Plaguebearers, complete with paint listings and WIP photos. Since people are lazy and I have no fear of Flickr or TastyTaste and his minions here is 40 Plaguebearers I've painted over the years, they are in a variety of shades... http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4079/4822653527_e9a9f20be6.jpg I'm looking pretty wise leaving my square bases on and adding more Plaguebearers every year with the new Horde rule in WFB, I've been talked into fielding these guys in that other game for the first time in over a decade... Gubnutz Da Grim
Here are some shots of my GUO. Yes he is in green though actually it is more of a rotting flesh over green washed heavily. http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l129/gubnutz/Nurgle/GUOWIPfront2.jpg http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l129/gubnutz/Nurgle/GUOWIPRear.jpg Hope they help.
