Andywont
Hey guys i was jsut wondering, how do you guys model your wolf standards. Im using the battleforce box and i was wondering whether to attempt to make a handheld banner from the one in there. Or whether to jsut be lazy and whack it on their back and say thats it. What have you guys done and why? Any pics? Andy Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207243-wolf-standards/ Share on other sites
Stormbrow II
Seeing as I dislike the new Wolf plastics (especially the Police Academy gay guy moustaches and beards) I'm using as many of the old sprues as I can get my paws on so I'm simply going with the old banner tops with wolf tails attached. Pics here. Have a look at any of the battle reports and you'll see pics of how I distinguish between the Grey Hunter squads. I'd reckon that you don't look a gift horse in the mouth and use the ones that are provided with the sprues as it'll save you a lot of hassle. Besides, you've already paid for them... The_Betrayed_Spacewolf
either are good although i do like the idea of each pack having its own standard to their liking. gives a sense of pride throughout the army for each pack to have its own special banner and the hand held ones always look better than the back pack ones (which i tend to decorate my vehicles with instead) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207243-wolf-standards/#findComment-2472036 Share on other sites
wolf363839
I use the wolf totem's that attach to the top of the backpacks. I put the same totem on the pack's Rhino to make it their own. In the case of the pack pictured, I converted one of the Wolf Guard Terminator's chest shields into a Wolf Standard, and again it matches the one on the front of the pack's Rhino. http://i955.photobucket.com/albums/ae39/phil363839/Space%20Wolf%20Army/DSCF2302.jpg?t=1280087305 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207243-wolf-standards/#findComment-2472045 Share on other sites
