Knee markings?

Hellow all. Im currently going back over my storm angels and adding company markings and the squad markings too. Problem is what to do with the kneeless models? they just dont seem to be a proper part of the unit without it. Currently doing 3rd squad and the only option ive really came up with is to paint a yellow drop on his shins. so my question to you is what are you doing as i dont really see an answer in the codex...

or you can put knee pads on them... make a mold of a dude with knee pad... press it on the dude w/o... clean up the mess... it's not as hard as you might think... this is how i actually put squad markings on my dudes... cuz there's no way in hell i can draw a skull on their knees... so i just took a mold of an old DC dude, he had a skull on his knee... and i press that on to all the other guys... for squad 1 and 2... also there's a guy w/ a blood droplet on the new DC dude... and that'll take care of 3 and 4...

If you can manage to grab certain packs of the old BA transfer sheets (usually eBay), some of them have black and yellow circles for vehicle markings. It makes for a really simple way of getting a squad marking on a "knee-less" leg, and you can either apply another transfer over the top or simply freehand the symbol. I use this for my rank and file as it saves having to get a perfect circle.

I did the same as Angelus Mortifer, see below

I had toyed with doing the whole front plate as the squad marking, but in the end bottled it
