Fenric
I see in the codex that a character on a Thunderwolf can only join a Thunderwolf pack or a pack of Fenrisian Wolves which is understandable. But if he joins a pack of Fenrisian Wolves won't that mean they all move like a normal infantry unit with him moving 12" and charge 6" and they are beasts and move 6" and charge 12"? Can't see how this can be effective whatsoever or is there somethign i'm missing? Grimtooth
The thunderlord moves exactly the same as the Fenrisian wolves. The mount makes him cavalry. Beasts and cavalry move the same, 6" movement, 12" charge. You are thinking bike movement. Blitzkreig
Beasts and Cavalry also have the fleet rule if I remember correctly. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207288-thunderwolf-lord-question/#findComment-2472408 Share on other sites
Fenric
Ok then I was wrong, thought we read that beasts and cavalry moved differently but i'll check again since I bet i'm wrong  It's like this when you just started playing again after many years ^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207288-thunderwolf-lord-question/#findComment-2472420 Share on other sites
Schertenleib
Beasts and calvary are one unit type. So they are the same when it comes to movement. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207288-thunderwolf-lord-question/#findComment-2472800 Share on other sites
