Independent Characters joining TWC

As written, TWM IC's can only join Fenrisian Wolves and TWC. However, I cannot find it in writing that a Wolf Priest, for example, cannot join a TWC unit. There is a small precedent for this: the Iron Priest (not an IC) can have up to 4 cyberwolves.

 

This would clearly slow them down, but giving preferred enemy to a TWC unit and an attached Thunderlord would be huge.

 

What do you guys think?

Of course. He is an Independent Character with no restrictions to joining any non-vehicle units.

Yes and I have done with him to great effect before

 

I wish a wolf priest could be given a TWC, that would be a machine of a unit

They would not be able to use the TWC rules (Calvary, beasts). They would move at the same pace of the priest.

If you plan on doing this, please please please, put him on a bike so that he looks like he could have actually kept up with the wolves. =)

 

Besides it would make the entire unit T5 (T4/5 for the priest but close enough).

I didn't actually plan on doing this, just a brain-fart, errr brain-storm. I think the TWC and TWL are deadly enough and my points are better spent elsewhere, like on a tooled up GH Pack. I always use a Rune Priest because he is versitile and a great psychic shield, so 3 HQ choices would really be a points sink. Besides, the most fun part of the TWC is their speed.
