Need help to recognize resin bases

Recommended Posts

Hi all mates, some time ago (i think more than 1 year) a friend of mine bought an army on ebay. The army had simple but effective bases.

Now my friend build a new army and decided to take that bases. Unfortunately the new army needs more bases that he actually have so we are trying to find out which vendor has that bases.

The yellow base color seems to be the original base color, not a paint. I guess that the bases have only been washed with some brown or red wash.

Since nor me nor my friend are good painter and i think we can't recreate the same yellow we would like to find the same bases and than have only to test washes to find the right one.

Can someone help us?

Here you can find some pics

thank!

There are polurethane resins in that colour - but without knowing what country or area you live in, it's hard to recommend a brand.

Don't forget the RTV silicon rubber to make the mould from and some form of mould release (so you don't destroy the mould or castings getting them out.
