fivepointedstar
My idea came after my Girl friend got pregnent and called me papa dragon ( because of my like of spicy foods) I was thinking of a DIY blood angels army and was stumped to figure out what to do. Then i came across my old catalog from 2005-06 and began poking about an in warhammer fantasy there were guys in vampire counts called blood dragons, an i thought to my self, " perfect". What I was wanting to do is use cold ones for the bikes, and a carnosaur as a librarian dread using the blood angles codex rules. Also saw the cape tutorial for corsairs back packs im gonna use that for sure. please help with ideas to model the bikes as its the only models I'm unsure how to do them. CainTheHunter
You should put them hanging on both sides apparently. I recall I saw somewhere a similar conversion but I can't remember where and what was that topic about... But the guy placed them, hanging in leather straps.... Probably he even modelled them from some orky stuff, since the barrells were round, but they looked really good overall. jipimus
I have tried something similar with my imperial guard but find the proportions a bit wrong due to the dark elves being a bit slimmer etc. Based my conversions on the old Dino-riders concept. Linky pulled from yahoo image search. CaptainForge
I would say to mount them on either side of his head so it would appear that whichever way his head was moved the TL bolters would go that way also. Hemal
How about linked bolters on the vambraces of the power armour, or "turreted" on the backpack? CainTheHunter
No they should be attached to their jaws - at least that was on that conversion which I mentioned, but I can't find it ;). Grey Mage
Are they the new ferocious looking cold ones, or the older lizardmen style ones? The older ones have enough space to sit in front of the rider, and you could use landspeeder gunner arms to finish it off. General Ravensong
When your opponent says "It's not WYSIWYG" I would either look at him like he's stupid or remind him "They're dragons". That said, I plan on doing nurgle bikers on VC wolves in the near future and one thing I'm considering is mounting the bolters on the backpacks so they sit on either side of the marine's helmet. I'd done something similar for a vulkan conversion a while back, but sadly I don't have the picture anymore... hopefully the description gives a good visualization though.
