Spazmonkey
He guys I have an AOBR conversion ive done(Still WIP), converted to my Bjorn count as caled "Draugr the Death Walker" Taken from norse Mythology- also known as aptrgangr (lit. "after-goer," or "one who walks after death") is an undead creature from Norse mythology. The original Norse meaning of the word Draugar were believed to live in the graves of dead Vikings, being the body of the dead. Views differ on whether the personality and soul of the dead person lingers in the draugr. I posted this in the SW forum but thought some here may enjoy this as well... I am in the process of making a Ven Banner for him and plan to remove the dual flags, as I dont think they give a Ven feel.... http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv186/jay_Spazmonkey/P1050153.jpg http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv186/jay_Spazmonkey/P1050151.jpg http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv186/jay_Spazmonkey/P1050150.jpg http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv186/jay_Spazmonkey/P1050149.jpg You cant see in these pics the storm bolter has been converted to a flame thrower as well. I hope you all enjoy Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207413-sw-dreadnaught-draugr-the-death-walker/ Share on other sites
bjørn eirik
looks like a nice conversion of the aobr model, like the plasma cannon you made, and the greenstuffed wolfpelt isn't that bad either. speaking og GSing, you should maybe fill some of the open cracks between the bits, and file down the mould lines. I will keep an eye on this thread  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207413-sw-dreadnaught-draugr-the-death-walker/#findComment-2474540 Share on other sites
sgt.Krueger
Very nice model there Spazmonkey, And an excellent choice of name. In my native language, Icelandic, which is close to old Norse, we still use "Draugur" and "afturganga" to mean "ghost". "Draugr" is an older spelling form of "Draugur" so all the more fitting for an ancient dreadnought. Good one!
