Question about Death Company and Transports.

Recommended Posts

Greetings to the Angels!

Quick question for you all..this is in regards to Death Company and Fast Moving Rhinos. Now,I know that normally,if a vehicle moves more then 6 inches, the passengers inside cannot shoot. Now the relentless USR states that the model is treated as if he was stationary when determining whether or not he can fire.

Now granted this is not normally going to come up,but it has in a prior game and I am trying to find support for it one way or the other...so if JamesL or any of the other wise Angels players out there has an answer for this that would be wonderful. Especially if it is mentioned somewhere in a FAQ or something of the like that I can bring to my game store.

Firing from a vehicle:

Models firing from a vehicle count as moving if the vehicle moves and may not fire at all if the vehicle moved at crusing speed that turn

Relentless:

Relentless models can shoot with rapid fire and heavy weapons counting as stationary, even if they moved in the previous movement phase

Based on this I would say that relentless models can fire from a vehicle moving at combat speed because they are counted as moving and relentless allows them to move and fire. I would not however allow them to fire from a vehicle moving at cruising speed as the vehicle rule simply disallows it without mentioning counting as moving etc.

I concur.
