Here is what I have been working on lately. I took a break from the Nurgle Daemons and painted up some old school Plague marines and a Rhino to ride in. This is the first of 4 Squads I have on deck. Comes with Dual Meltas, an icon, Champ with Powerfist. Painted in the same style as my Daemons. Still need to be based and sealed but that will come in between painting the next set of 7 and rhino. After that I will post up some of the Terminator shots.

looking awesome mate, very old school paintwork.

what is your technique on the purple?

Purple is Liche Purple layered over the after the greens have been applied. Greens are DA Green, Drybrush of Camo Green, Drybrush of rotting Flesh. Then I was them with Devlan Mud, Gryphon Sepia.

Good stuff. I TOO use a lot of the old 2nd/3rd edition nurgle marines. They are fun and dynamic for their time. I'll post some pics in the coming weeks when my force is a bit more, eh, visually friendly. :blush:

Green and Purple eh? I've seen those colors before somewhere... Beware there are a few vocal know-it-alls who will tell you, you can't paint plaguemarines purple, just ignore them.

Hey the colors work. As for the know it alls, I have never much cared for being told what I can and cannot paint. I like certain colors and I use them. Most of the people I play with play pewter hordes or that stylish new plastic gray scheme so any color is better than none.

As for an update I have been working on my Mono Nurgle Daemons but they share at least one unit and here he is pre sealed. Still needs to be glossed then a matte coat and grass added in this pic, though he has since gotten those things sorted out.

 

DP with Wings Number 1, will more than likely add another at some point but not sure.

He has an odd sepia tone in the pics but I think when I get some better pics that will be removed. Comments welcome
