self-made space marines bionic replacements

hi all! first topic here, so i hope it works (as well as my english, cos i'm italian).

 

this is what i got by using some sprues we usually don't care about.

 

still have to add more details, but i'll show you anyway looking for cnc.

it will be part of a diorama with some other guys while having some rest: the arm with the bolter along his side, a cigarette in the other hand.

If I were a tank commander, I'd order the driver to drive me closer to you so that I could hit you with my sword...!

Aside from that, your bionic legs look quite nice. I fear, however, that a hollow leg would hardly be able to support the Marine's weight, let alone that of his armour ^^

But as you said, this is WIP.

Keep up the good work - but don't let 'em smoke cigarettes. Bad for his health, you know ;-)

 

 

Btw., I just remembered a scene from "Warriors of Ultramar", when Sergeant Learchus sat around a fire with some PDF troopers, stretching out his hands towards the flames, unconsciously imitating and adapting to the men around him.

And although it seemed a little out of character it retrospectively was quite a nice scene - will your diorama incorporate guardsmen as well?

well, i just know a bit of w40k bg, but i remember some pics of ironhands - or something like that - showing marines who had just their heads left: the rest was cyber stuff.

will your diorama incorporate guardsmen as well?

uhm...could be...maybe a dead tank commander :)
