First new space wolf

So, like the title says, I have finally gotten around to painting a Blood Claw from the new kit. Tried a new paint style and scheme, inspired by the guys at the space wolves blog. So, without further ado, here is Brother Nils of the Space Wolves (pre-h).

Looks pretty good.

A light drybrush of Dwarf Bronze on the runes on the helmet really adds a nice little highlight also a wash for the furry parts will make the model feel a bit more complete. I can't speak to much else because the light is a bit dark so i can't see the little details too well.

Though may i ask how you painted the red on the shoulderpads? it looks almost metallic.

Thanks man! The pad is Mechrite Red with an old GW Red ink over it. I like the inks better than the washes, personally.
