need some help with converting a retinue

How would you intend to arm the warrior? I've been fond of Enforcer leaders from the Necromunda line. They combine the face obscuring armour with a badass long coat. If the Inquisitor is a pragmatic type you might look into inducting hideous mutants or abhumans into your service and resurrect the old tradition of the Imperial Beastman.

I've used Empire engineers for sages. You might fabricate some kind of book and then paint the pages with a glowing green read out or something like Penny had in Inspector Gadget. Actually, that could be a fun sage conversion, a child savant. There are a few small children in the line. There's the kid with the catapult on the Bretonnian trebuchet, and there's a girl with folded arms in the Mordheim unruly mob, and another catapult kid. Depending on your skill you might be able to butcher the girl by carving her arms off her chest and reposing them out in front of her.

@Celestin: i dont mind buying bits or models, as long as its not too expensive.

@Eddie Orlock: arent necromunda enforcers expensive? i dont really remember them being sold seperately, and i dont have too much money to spare. i kinda like the empire engineer idea. and im not that good with converting with metal so im not that sure about a child savant, although that would be kinda funny.

@Eddie Orlock: i figure my inquisitor is kinda dark... (thats the best i can describe it, ive never been good at explaining things) and arent necromunda enforcers expensive? i dont really remember them being sold seperately, and i dont have too much money to spare. i kinda like the empire engineer idea. and im not that good with converting with metal so im not that sure about a child savant, although that would be kinda funny.

... I used the Engineers unconverted save for a new base.

You might check bitz sites that break things down.

Actually here's one for you. Haunt ebay and by the first cheap cool thing that comes up.

I digress, I tend to find that I have more hobby money than time, so I don't think much about the costs.

well the only problem with the empire engineer that i have is that it has puffy arms(i hate puffy arms, even in real life) so i might have to find a way to fix that. and im not really sure bits websites sell necromunda stuff... and ebay has tonnes of cool stuff. but a lot of it is also expensive. thanks for your suggestions!

Scout arms or Imperial Guard/Catachan arms are always an option to convert humanoid henchmen, and they're not the most expensive/rare options around either.

For my sages I just used the stock models, although I got mine when you could still mailorder individual minis. The one from the Coteeaz boxed set looks especially nice for a dark Inquisitor retinue.
