Montuhotep
I'd say that was rather the point, personally - this dark thing emerging from the shadows with only it's targeters and a honking great gun easily made out. Think the recent Predator movie where the target blocks light up the guy's shirt. carnosaur93
exacly my point paladin, i wanted a dark and grim feeling to it (its warhammer afterall B) ) leaving alot to the imagination... also, this is as said just a speedpaint, i could had put ALOT more work into it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207668-speedpainted-artwork/#findComment-2477973 Share on other sites
Retributis
The intense light given off by the gun doesn't really seem to carry over onto the highlights of the body; doing this would make it a bit more cohesive. Not bad for a speedpaint though I'm not sure how it took you 30 mins. carnosaur93
though I'm not sure how it took you 30 mins. i had problems with the robes, and was basicly taking my time with playing around with the heat-effect on the plasma-coils, also, i had to compleatly redo it becouse it generally messed up at first and i should probably had mentioned, all this was about was actually to play abit with the heat-effect. Montuhotep
Now me, personally, my reading of that would be along the lines of 'How the Hell did you do all that in 30 minutes?' It'd have taken me a month and it would still have sucked.
