mughi3
We don't get very many demon armies in our area for 40K so it was a nice bit of change to face one. My opponant ran a pretty effective 3 god lost(slaneesh/nurgle/tzeench) it worked prettym, uch as expected with flamers and such shooting, slaneesh cav and infantry assaulting and nurgle holding objectives. He additionally had a keeper of secrets, 2 demon princes, a soul grinder and the big nurgle HQ guy. I kept most of my stuiff in reserve for this game, as i often do when people have to come to me. The setup was one objective in each deployment with a dawn of war setup. He did amazingly well with his deepstrikes not having a single mishap. This turned into a slow battle of attrition for me(on the loosing side). i did manage to immobilise andnuetre the soul grinder, kill a greater demon and wound all the others while taking down a few of his squads. Unfortunately for me the game went all the way to turn 7. on turn 5 we each held one objective for a tie. on turn 6 we contested both objectives on turn 7 hge kicked me off one while i contested the other. Giving the demons a solid victory. At the end fo the game i only had a single venerable dread and the librarian left on the table. at least the nice thing was that i didn't have to roll 3 dice adding them together like i do against eldar. all my powers actually went off this game. allowing my libby to really shine. he managed to gat 4 times and use the avenger flamer 3 times. It was a pretty intence game so i only remembered to snap a few pics- http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/CDa812010.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/CDb812010.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/CDc812010.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/CDd812010.jpg http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i112/mughi3/batreps/CDe812010.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207756-demon-bomb/ Share on other sites
