Question: Sisters of Silence

Are the null madiens and the black ships still active in the post heresy universe or have they gone the way of the dodo and been replaced by the inqusition.

The Black Ships are still active, as are pariahs. However, the Sisters of Silence don't appear to have survived as a known cohesive organization in the current time.

i believe the SOB and either the adeptus arbites or ordo hereticus stormtroopers guard the black ships...

 

maybe the sisters of silence are based on terra and guard the emperor along with the custodes?

I believe (well in my opinion not supported by any facts) is that the original convent of the Daughters of the Emperor on San Loer is where all the Sisters of Silence went to during the HH and were forgotten about and eventually through the generations that passed until High Lord Vandire reign when they were rediscovered had lost a good majority of their pariah gene due isolation.

It's open to interpretation.

 

SoS aren't mentioned as being a full force guarding the Black Ships like in the times of the Heresy, but also there's no proof that they aren't enveolved with the Black Ships anymore. The Pariah gene is very important to keep psykers under control, so it's very possible that they still serve in smaller numbers, allocated to specific parts of the ships, to nullify the prisioners.
