GW sense of humour

Gue'la may acutally be a referance to Guailo, the Cantonese term for a caucasian. This is further backed up by the fact that the Tau were supposedly created by GW to reach out to asian consumers.

Perhaps, but remember that "`la" is a rank within the Tau so a normal fire warrior is called shas`la, so it could just be that it happened to match later.

i always enjoy finding out what inspired GW-glad its not just me! ;)

(didnt know the M'Shen thing but now you mention it, it makes perfect sense!)

Look in the satanic bible-theres a list of names in the back that "inspired" many names involving chaos..:)

one of the wolf lord names i got a kick out of this past week (since i was in training, and sitting in my hotel room with nothing to do but read the SW codex) was Krom... especially since the only other thing i brought with me was my laptop and Conan The Barbarian... where he prays to...... you guessed it, krom.
