WIP - The Void Phantoms

Ok lets test the water on this idea, I had the plans loosely scetched in the back of my head for a while now, but with the release of the Kairos Fateweaver model, my fate was sealed lol!

 

Very brief description to be fluffed out.

 

The Void Phantoms are a recently founded chapter who where declared ex-communicate before even reaching operational strength. The reasons behind this involve a Radical Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor diverting their faith towards the Aquila, dont sound to bad? but this was the the symbol of the Daemon Prince Arathor favoured of Tzeentch, who appears as a double headed Eagle\Changer of ways.

 

Mostly Space Marines, ie not many veichles or Terminator armour.

The Chapter being about 300 Marines strong, plus 100 scouts.

Working on a pirate fleet type basis.

Being "sponsered" by Tzeentch on an information crusade seeking lost tomes etc.

Using modern marine equipment\models, but with the Chaos Codex.

 

Im still fluffing out ideas on old fashioned paper and pen but would like some thoughts on this......

Could be a nice idea here, would be great to see the fall being fleshed out with detail. If I remember correctly one Chapter was exocommunicated for heresy regarding worshipping the Emperor as animal totems. This could be something similar. But as always seeing the why behind the Radical Inquistitor's actions will be the good bit.

 

Be great to hear more and see the details fluffed out.

Ive allways had a love for the Inquisitors since reading the Jaq Draco trilogy, and I intend to impliment the fall like in the Blood Angel Trilogy, where the Inquisitor is doing it to advance his path to Daemon Prince.
