Chaos Marines at 1000pts

Traitor chapters? Are you reffering to renegades or the 9 traitor legions?

 

sorry, i was referring to one of the original four traitor chapters, i am sorry if my loyalist terminology was ineffective (you are all traitors to me :P )

 

I think he means the four Cult Legions (Berzerkers, Plague Marines etc).

 

so in future reference to appease the vengeance of all chaos players i will use this term now, thx :D

For anybody interested there is a short tactica by Christian Byrne in WD 342, it's a bit old but there are some useful tournament tactics in there, heck I can't think of any other recent tactica GW have done for chaos marines?

 

Last week when sampling the island of blood set at a GW store I saw a kid who had a pretty okay looking nurgle list with a lord, daemon prince, 3 squads of mounted plague marines and 2 obliterators, they weren't half-bad painted either! Sometimes a good way to find out what other people take at 1000pts is to pay a visit to a GW/hobbyist store and see what people are taking, net lists tend to be the same thing duplicated time and again, but in the real world each list is different.
