As I've been painting Dark Angels / Deathwing for the last few years, I thought it was time for something else. So I created my own chapter, to keep me motivated with the hobby. I have drawn a lot of inspiration from these boards, so I thought it was time to (hopefully) give a little bit back.

 

So without further ado, here is the first miniature I'd like to show you. It is a veteran from the Mk II box which, in my humble opinion, contains some of the best Space Marine miniatures in the range. As such, I did not bother much with any conversions. I just swapped the plasma pistol for a bolt pistol.

I love it when people do the proper Latin thing and replace their Js with Is

 

Spectacular paint job, but I'd recommend taking photographs with a day bulb rather than a standard one. Your pics will come out clearer!

Great colour scheme. I'm not usually a fan of the feet being painted different to the rest of the model but yours doesn't look bad at all. Looking forward to see more of these

OK, looking good, but what Codex do you play them with?

Some Hard lines up ther but it works for the model.

@ MattCrawford: Good point. I think I'll take the next pics in real daylight for a more natural lighting.

 

@ Peuriexdeus: Codex Space Marines. As I've played Deathwing for so long, I wanted something different for a new PA army. Haven't played a game with the codex yet though...
