Deathstorm Pods and DPA

Just mulling over Forge World's Deathstorm Drop Pods, and thinking all evil..

The Deathstorms are Drop Pods. Specific types of Drop pods, of course. But they would still be subject to the Drop Pod Assault rule, yes?

So, if you have four pods, with two being Deathstorms, drop them in the first turn, then in the next turn drop the next two behind the Deathstorms.

I'm seriously considering making a couple now.

Does anyone have a Deathstorm Drop Pod, or proxied one to see how maniacal they are? How well do they do in screwing with the enemy forces?

To answer the OP, yes they are subject to the DP assault rule so if you have two Deathstorms and two normal DPs then the Deathstorms can deploy on turn 1, or, if the enemy hold everything in reserve, you can deploy the normal DPs and then leave them in reserve.

Any two that you want can come down first term via Drop Pod Assault, but the ones after that come down based on a successful Reserve roll (so not necessarily on the next turn).
