Grey Hunters and rhino with beer!

Heres a few pics of my recently fully finished grey hunter squad lead by wolf guard Tor Starsplitter. Plus their ride which carries a fair amount of the companies finest amber nectar...

And his fluff:

Wolf Guard - Tor Starsplitter (leads Grey Hunters)

Tor never seemed destined for true greatness. His arc had seen him rise from claw to hunter with no obvious trait of distinction. Serving efficiently and diligently but never truly shining. But his fate would snake and wind, throwing him the most sternest and unexpected of challenges.

A barren rock in the western fringes, his company were investigating the sightings of renegades from the world eaters. A rag tag band that had terrorized the nearby system of Vos and its shipping lanes.

On patrol Tors pack would find itself at the vanguard as dawn broke. Crimson rhinos bearing the mark of the traitor legion rumbled out into the gloom. Opening fire on the snarling wolves, who in turn gunned their own rhino at the renegades while support desperately raced in. The traitors were not just lead by a power hungry champion, but the arch betrayer himself - Khârn.

The betrayer who would test even the great wolf now stood in the sights of Tors squad. The bellowing champion hurled millennia old curses as he charged the hunters, even outpacing his berserkers. Meeting the Grey hunters single-handed he felled many with screams of gorechild. In the face of such terrible power the hunters did not waver, as they swarmed and hacked at the ancient warrior. Yet the betrayer in his rage would eventually best the pack, all but Tor who fought like the wolves of old facing the heresy. Scoring several killing blows the hunter managed to wound the champion, but the strike had left him open.

The hunters assault had bought enough time, as the Night wolves closed in for what would be a bloody and unrelenting battle. Tor, survived his wounds and his deeds were noted. For it was his strike that had allowed his wolf lord to finish the champion in single combat. Tor received a place in the elite and his latent potential snarled into being. At his side he carries the fearsome axe 'starsplitter', which he vowed would one day clash again with gorechild.

Thanks for the comments fellow wolves!

The barrels were taken from the fantasy chaos ogres, really cheap from a bits site. If that rhino gets blown up I can hear my wolf lord yelling " The ale! Why is the ale always gone!?"

The scout head I just thought looked half decent. When i first bought the new boxes I tried to use less bearded heads for my blood claws (not shaving yet) so it left me with not quite enough variety of heads for the hunters.

The armor color is mixed up in a pot and consists of black, shadow grey and codex grey. Then a highlight of pure shadow grey, followed by a mix of shadow grey mixed with codex grey. It works until a mixed pot runs dry and I have to try and get the right colors again...

All my packs have varying paint schemes to i wouldn't worry if it differers from pack to pack. Also great looking pack.
