Levitas
Heres a few pics of my recently fully finished grey hunter squad lead by wolf guard Tor Starsplitter. Plus their ride which carries a fair amount of the companies finest amber nectar... http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/TFq3GaR6gNI/AAAAAAAAAN0/g3V8pAx8Pn0/s1600/Tor_singleshot.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/TFq3F6AlqRI/AAAAAAAAANs/u2o8z96kLmY/s1600/Tor_closeup.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/TFq3FdnG33I/AAAAAAAAANk/5SSaxpxROqg/s1600/Tors_hunters_full.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/TFq3FNlNU4I/AAAAAAAAANc/zoqezPAif-c/s1600/tor_rhino_front.jpg http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_x1vt2GUjp_I/TFq3EsolXOI/AAAAAAAAANU/lypc2it0xg4/s1600/Tor_rhino_back.jpg And his fluff: Wolf Guard - Tor Starsplitter (leads Grey Hunters) Tor never seemed destined for true greatness. His arc had seen him rise from claw to hunter with no obvious trait of distinction. Serving efficiently and diligently but never truly shining. But his fate would snake and wind, throwing him the most sternest and unexpected of challenges. A barren rock in the western fringes, his company were investigating the sightings of renegades from the world eaters. A rag tag band that had terrorized the nearby system of Vos and its shipping lanes. On patrol Tors pack would find itself at the vanguard as dawn broke. Crimson rhinos bearing the mark of the traitor legion rumbled out into the gloom. Opening fire on the snarling wolves, who in turn gunned their own rhino at the renegades while support desperately raced in. The traitors were not just lead by a power hungry champion, but the arch betrayer himself - Khârn. The betrayer who would test even the great wolf now stood in the sights of Tors squad. The bellowing champion hurled millennia old curses as he charged the hunters, even outpacing his berserkers. Meeting the Grey hunters single-handed he felled many with screams of gorechild. In the face of such terrible power the hunters did not waver, as they swarmed and hacked at the ancient warrior. Yet the betrayer in his rage would eventually best the pack, all but Tor who fought like the wolves of old facing the heresy. Scoring several killing blows the hunter managed to wound the champion, but the strike had left him open. The hunters assault had bought enough time, as the Night wolves closed in for what would be a bloody and unrelenting battle. Tor, survived his wounds and his deeds were noted. For it was his strike that had allowed his wolf lord to finish the champion in single combat. Tor received a place in the elite and his latent potential snarled into being. At his side he carries the fearsome axe 'starsplitter', which he vowed would one day clash again with gorechild. CainTheHunter
I like them - especially the beer :P. The only criticism concerns the gun barrels, which are not drilled out :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207998-grey-hunters-and-rhino-with-beer/#findComment-2481495 Share on other sites
Token
Like the ale barrels. How come you used a scout head for the melta gunner? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207998-grey-hunters-and-rhino-with-beer/#findComment-2481496 Share on other sites

Night Runner
The barrel honestly made my day! Congrats. I love it! ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207998-grey-hunters-and-rhino-with-beer/#findComment-2481668 Share on other sites
Levitas
Thanks for the comments fellow wolves! The barrels were taken from the fantasy chaos ogres, really cheap from a bits site. If that rhino gets blown up I can hear my wolf lord yelling " The ale! Why is the ale always gone!?" The scout head I just thought looked half decent. When i first bought the new boxes I tried to use less bearded heads for my blood claws (not shaving yet) so it left me with not quite enough variety of heads for the hunters. The armor color is mixed up in a pot and consists of black, shadow grey and codex grey. Then a highlight of pure shadow grey, followed by a mix of shadow grey mixed with codex grey. It works until a mixed pot runs dry and I have to try and get the right colors again... Also great looking pack. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207998-grey-hunters-and-rhino-with-beer/#findComment-2483391 Share on other sites
Prot
Nice! A very interesting stark contrast in colours. This is pretty much the polar opposite of mine and that's kind of what I like about Wolves.... everyone has their little take on them. Silverwolf
Great colour scheme, much like I was originally going for with my first pups back in the day. Loving those beer kegs! Just adds so much character to it :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/207998-grey-hunters-and-rhino-with-beer/#findComment-2483563 Share on other sites
Valerian
+1 thumbs up; really dig the color scheme, too. I like that for a darker scheme a lot better than the typical dark greys that you usually see.
