AnDyzZzoRe
Hi everyone, Im in the process of building a squad of heresy era terminators, and I remember reading in someof the HH novels that they had integrated weapons systems as well as the Twin linked bolters. In particular i seem to remember shoulder and gauntlet mounted weapons, possibly some sort of lasguns or similar. Having looked through collected visions I cannot see any terminators that have this sort of armament except the Cyclone launchers. Does anyone know if there is any info on what, if any other weapons systems they had, and if I should just ignore them when I build my squad, because Id love to build some shoulder mounted weapons . Thanks, Andrew Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208050-pre-heresy-terminator-additional-weapons/ Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
I was thinking of a more powerful version of digital weapons Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208050-pre-heresy-terminator-additional-weapons/#findComment-2482307 Share on other sites
Rider-75
The original RT terminator captain model had a grenade launcher mounted on the back of his powerfist. They could have had similar with "digital" style weapons (though fluff wise actual digiweapons may have come later, being "aquired" from xenos) and possibly variants of the cyclone mount. Culebras
Damnit, now you've got my brain to thinking. Hmmm. well here are some pure fluff ideas. Mark III "Sedition Suppressor" Pattern Replace the cyclone missile launchers with two auxiliary grenade launchers and the storm bolter with the Astartes grenade launcher from the space marine scout bike. This pattern would be very flexible, being able to fire up to four frag or krak grenades at anything in rapid fire range. Mark IV-b "Sun hammer" Pattern I can see this being designed by the Iron hands for maximum ranged devastation. Replaces storm bolters with Las cannons and Multi-las, while the sergent gets a Signum. The "Deathshroud" Mortarion's bodyguards wore "highly artificed Terminator armor that gave them a tall and barrel-chested appearance" and they carried two-handed manreapers which could count as Relic blades. Throw in some digital weapons hidden in the gauntlets? Just some ideas. I'm sure I'll come up with more later. It was a common upgrade for Terminators back in the second.
