13th Black Crusade, what happened?

I mean there is not a word of it in any 5th edition codex. It was one of the most important conflicts in the galaxy. Seems strange to me that its not mentioned anymore. Seeing how they mention 1st Armageddon how can they not even have a footnote on 13th black crusade?
I don't mean t thread-jack, but while were on the subject of the EoT campaign, does anyone actually know if Logan did meet some members from the 13th company? I heard he did but wasn't sure if it was just fan fluff and I haven't been able to confirm it as GW canon.
could it be possible GW are doing what they are doing with Storm Of Chaos, sweeping it under the rug and hoping it is forgotton, a shame, but hey this is the new GW, anything that suggests they have to do anything for their customers is a big nono.

From talking with a friend that was a middle-manager at GW US HQ during the EoT campaign I gather that Chaos unofficially won the campaign. His reasoning was how decimated the "good" forces were around the Eye & the fact that there are still battles going on for control of Cadia itself. Abaddon didn't acheive his goal of opening the Cadian Gate fully but aparently the pure destruction of imperial forces was more then satisfactory to him.

He also said there were rumored/thrown around plans at GW for the 13th company to come home. Logan and the SW weren't fully trusting of them though so instead of being given their old space in the Fang they were going to be stationed on Fenris' moon. I was a little sad when I saw very little mention of the 13th company in the new Codex but I'll take it over the 3rd ed.

Now, take all this info with a grain of salt. This is 3rd hand info from ~5 years ago from a company that isn't as bad with lore as say Blizzard Entertainment but still pretty bad. Most of this stuff was most likely permanently shelved. One can hope for the next codex though. =)

Yeah, doubt a middle manager got a straight story from the dev team. Especially given how many people have changed on the team anyway.

More likely, it is just another SoC- all sound and fury, signifying nothing. After all, check out Eldrad in the Eldar codex.

ok chaos won their primary ie holding most of cadia, however the forces of order held the shipping lanes and the space around cadia. logan offered the 13th a chance to return to the fang however they nixed it and continued hunting for leman and the thousand sons.

and yes it did go the way of storm of chaos, especially when during the opening games eldrad :cusspawned abbaddon.

You lost me at the bolded part. Sure, guys who have spent 10,000 years in the Eye of Terror aren't going to be given everything straight up and fully trusted, but out of all the Chapters, the Space Wolves are the definetly going to at least welcome them back into the Fang, hell Bjorn probably knows half of the 13th company...
