In short: Somehow it seems that Blood Red and Brushed Gold do cover noticable worse than Fortress Grey or Chaos Black for instance. Is this just due to the color or are there some things I have to respect when working with Blood Red and Gold colors ? Dones anyone know weather the red and gold Vallejoh equivalents do cover better than the GW colors? I do have a goblin green from Vallejoh which is superb... Hemal Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Reds, yellows and metallics, especially gold, tend to be poor at covering lower layers than oterh colours, I would always use lots of thin layers to get a good base with these colours. Black, White and greys tend to have very good, strong pigments, that cover very well...
