Manduk
Hello all, I've been working on a special little project for the last 3 months and have finally completed my work. As you can guess from the title its yet another Stormraven kitbash!! Using A Landraider, a Valkyrie, the Aquilla lander from Forgeworld and various other bits, plasticard and green stuff, I've created something which I think is a bit special. Please take a look at the pictures below and let me know what you think. The images aren't great but I couldn't wait to show it off!! I'll get some better images up if people seem interested. Thanks. http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo25.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo26.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo30.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo29.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo27.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo31.jpg http://i938.photobucket.com/albums/ad224/Manduks/Stormraven/photo32.jpg
GlauG
Absolutely gorgeous, my only complaint is my usual one; I don't personally think that the Thunderbolt/Aquilla/Valkyrie style IG cockpit fits a Space Marine vehicle, and that the Thunderhawk and the tanks should be a better model... Rybnick
Wow, that is hands down the best SR I've seen made. I really like how you mixed the LR and Valk together without it looking like you just glued Valk parts onto the Raider hull. It looks really unique and different and the wings are a really nice change from what I've seen others doing. I'd be really happy if the eventual GW kit looks anywhere near as nice as your conversion does.

Zealadin
Thats amazing I also have to disagree with the person saying that the cockpit is not very space marine-ish. On that model it looks perfectly fine, in fact I'd go as far to say it fits it perfectly even from a space marine perspective. Very nice work! Shard
I also disagree with the comment that it's not very space marine-ish. With the Aquila wings being so blocky, I think that this conversion is more in-line with SM aesthetic than the more common Valk-LR versions you see. Grats on an great conversion! Brother_Dan'l
Very nicely executed. The tail structure looks a little weak, but otherwise it's pretty cool. And no matter what your tastes may be I'd imagine it will win "The single most expensive Stormraven Conversion" prize hands down.
Nerdfest10
One of the better SR conversions I've seen, really good job and a great paint job as well :)
Red Fury
Wow. Definitely the best I've seen. More pics Please!
GlauG
Was both fantastic and a little scary to see this in person today. :( The paint looks even nicer up close, where there's no camera flash/lamp glare..
douchie
Now that looks more like an Astartes machine. My problem with a few or the conversions (although most I've seen have been executed brilliantly) was that many seemed more like a Imperial Guard craft rather than one space marines would use. Quality work!
