Khorne Berzerkers: World Eaters Noise Marines: Emperors Children Plague Marines: Death Guard Thousand Sons: Thousand Sons I think that's pretty much self explaining. Raptors: Night Lords - According to fluff they have most raptors, and they like tactics as : hit and run for terror effect Havocks: Iron Warriors - They are after all heavy weapon specialist with all their siege knowledge Chaos Space Marines: Black Legion - Abaddon being the only one who ever was strong enough to get all the Legions back together (even if it is for only a short time) Choosen: Alpha Legion - The infiltrate ability is in my opinion more their specialty because of their way of fighting. Now that leaves me with: - Word Bearers: Another group of normal CSM with a chaplain SM as my dark apostle (but rules of normal champion) - Terminators: Evry legion will have 3 terminators (I got a whole bunch for free so I don't know if this is really a good option for someone else) - Possessed: I'm painting it so that 1 possessed has 1 Legion collor, and then the rest in my renegade-color forces and will call them good name (still working on the name, something like 'The Legionair' but better) - vehicles - defiler: BL - vindicator - IW, etc etc Land raider- probably BL - Got some space wolves models: Skyrar's Dark Wolves ==> CSM with permenant Mark of Khorne on them (going to magnatise those Mark on my other CSM to interchange them) - Red Crossairs: an other group of CSM or maybe some Imperial Guard Considering the size, it wil probably be a Apocalypse Size army (think I have about 5K points without upgrades atm) But the fun thing is I can chose whatever Army I want when playing normal. Going to make some list-sheets, write a number the back and roll a dice to see wich I play 1- Khorne 2- Nurgle 3- Slaanesh 4- Tzeentch 5- Chaos undivided (only mark of glory) 6- Chaos United (small forces of evry god) Again, this is how I see it at the moment :P I would be happy to hear how you are going to do it yourself, and ofcourse I demand progress pictures :) Have fun with it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

caboosebe Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 I'm also planning on putting in Daemons, but for the moment I'm concentrating on the CSM first. Got a huge supply of them of a gamer who wanted to stop, so i'll have enough work as it is. For the bases I'm planning to make it legion distinctive, but I haven't got all the things set for that part. Still have to think what it will be for evry legion, at the moment, I only know what my Death Guard will be rotten trees and stuff like that, and my Skyrar's Dark Wolves will be snowy-themed. The rest is still fussy. As for my bikers, I've only planned 4. They are going to be the Four Riders of the Apocolypse, and I will try to model them like the Four Horsemen from the myth. The others I'm still not sure, but the Red Crossairs does indeed seem the best option. The Daemon Princes Will probably be God based, but at the moment those aren't yet in the box of equipment, so i'll think about that later. As for the lords and sorcerer. I got 2 lords and a sorcerer from the guy. I'm not sure about that either, but I think I'll buy some more to have them for lesser point games, but again, this is still an idea for the 'future'. The only solid idea of a sorcerer/lord (maybe daemon) is a canoness from the Sisters of Battle convertion to a slaaneshy sorcerer/lord/daemon) just to bug a friend who is a heavy SoB player who always like to tease me with Chaos jokes. As for the defiler, I only have one at the moment, and he's going to be BL, but i'm planning on buying 2 more, one becoming a Slaughterfiend of te WE. The World Eater Oblitorator is just massive goodness xD. "I can make any weapon with my arms, so, I make a gazilion chainswords, MUHAHAHAHA" The Death Guard oblit looks very nice too! Very impressive. You can see you have a talent for converting and painting. That's the only downside I have, as a pretty new player, the painting skills aren't that great yet as some on the board. caboosebe Posted August 12, 2010 Share Posted August 12, 2010 Thank you, I already have 2 skull champions with powerfist, so I wanted this one to have power sword, just in case I ever wanted to field one. I understand you're feelings of have so many models that it is hard to even begin with it. Got the same problem. Got about 100+ normal models, not counting termies or vehicles. Would love to see that plague tower, it's looking superb so far (bit jealous xD), so the end result must be godly. Anyway, glad to hear someone else has the (rough) same idea as me :cuss hope you don't mind if i steal some color-idea's from you :P Good luck with the rest :) hope you have fun making a Grand Black Crusade :P Oh and note me if you have a fluff story around it, would love to see how you fill that part up ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
