Fenric
I was wondering where I can check for rules regarding allied troops for our army. I see people talking about getting some other imperial unit in as an ally. Seems like a fun idea tbh to try at times. How does this work really? Grey Mage
Really, its really simple. You get an in print copy of C:Daemon Hunters or C: Witchhunters. The rules are detailed inside. There are several slots your allowed to take- after you have the mandatory 1 HQ 2 Troops from C:SW as normal. You cant get a heavy support choice, and your other options are limited. You take them as normal from one of the two codices above. If a unit requires something to 'unlock it' such as needing an inquisitor to take an assassin, you must unlock it as normal. These units taken as allies count as your own for all purposes- example, if you take a unit of SoB Seraphim, youll be down a FA slot, and your WP with JP can join them.
