Deamon Flesh

I'm expanding my collection to include chaos deamons, and I have a dilemma: I'm not used to painting flesh. SM/CSM are notoriously boring to paint and have a low % fleshy parts to paint, namely heads I did see the posting with the GW guide, but I've always found the posters here are much more realistic and helpful when it comes to color pallets.

 

Help this young spawn grow to a greater deamon, painting deamon!

 

Post a picture(s) and paint recipe and describe any special techniques you may use to achieve the desired effect. All forces of chaos unite!

for his skin i used a mix of codex grey, mordian blue and skull white, from a dark base to a near white mix.

make sure you make extremley thing layers, like 1 part paint 10 parts water!

basically I do a Dark Angels Green basecoat

Dry brush heavily with camo green and rotting flesh

Pick out bone with bleached bone

Use Liche Purple and Red Gore heavily on areas

Add browns or metals as needed/wanted

I also like snot green for some spots

Coat with Devlan Mud

Coat with Gryphon Sepia

Pick out any spots

 

Nurgle goodness quick and easy. I have completed about 2800 points since mid June.
