Godhead
I have in one game ninja'd a nurgle DP, 3 bloodcrushers, and fateweaver in two turns. My Longfangs killed his bloodthirster and the most of the 2nd squad of crushers. He conceded at the end of turn 2 when all that was left was 3 5 man horror squads facing my full strength Spacewolves. Blackrime
Among rune priest Aestridr's JAWS tally are 6 BA DC marines and their chaplain, 2 Sanguinary Guard, a dreadnaught, two carnifexes, a hive tyrant, and a bunch of other crap. He's the only HQ unit in my army that never stays home. It's like throwing models into a garbage disposal. Jaws rocks pretty honkin hard, and don't ever let anyone say "broken," either. It's just as viable a power as the 4th ed Space Marine librarian ability that allowed them to suck targets into the warp. Every army has its strong points and every army has its weak points. Some are weaker than others, like the Tau against Dark Eldar: "What's that blue stain on the hull of the ravager, Bill?" "I don't know, Ted. It looks like an adult human's testicles, after three hours in a strip joint, or five minutes at an anime convention in San Diego. It looks like desperation, Ted; desperation and failure." Jaws can't hurt dreads (vehicles) and can't hurt Sanguinary Guard (jump infantry are immune). Blackrime
Good thing we were playing in my kitchen then, ploughed on Kraken spiced rum and VANILLA PORTER, LEST I MIGHT HAVE EMBARASSED MYSELF PUBLICLY! Though, I'm sure my Blood Angels rival is going to want... well, blood for this. That was our first game since I got back into the hobby. The nids were against my brother... the second game I played since getting back into the hobby. Methinks it's time for another round of mjod. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure we dicked up the entire assault phase, every single turn.
