Dratnos
Hey all, I'm moving soon and I'll have a more spacious accommodation, allowing me to move my miniature collection out of boxes and potentially into a display case. Now, I have a Realm of Battle Gameboard, so I had an idea to get a display case 2' wide and 2' deep so that each level could hold a square of the gameboard. If the gameboard was 5' high with a level every 1' there would then be 6 spots for the 6 squares of the gameboard (using the top of the case as well). Does anyone know how I would go about purchasing or constructing a case of this or a similar design? Thanks a million, Dratnos Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208586-display-case/ Share on other sites
CarbonCopy
Ikea has many available options for metal/glass display cases. The only problem, none of them are quite that big. The two I have are 17"x17"x56" (externally) for the glass enclosed case part with a 70.5" over-all height. There are 5 internal shelves, a glass top and a metal shelf beneath. And a locking glass door to keep little busy hands out (like my 4-year-old daughter's). :) For something larger, you might want to check your local retail fixture/supply store. Dratnos
Thanks a bunch, I'll have a look at Ikea first, maybe I could go for 2 smaller cases instead of 1 bigger one. Otherwise I'll mosey down to a fixture store =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208586-display-case/#findComment-2489317 Share on other sites
