Mudpuppet
Been thinking of converting the black templars emperors champ model into a jump pack librarian type character. Has anyone seen anything like this before? and if so know of any pictures? Other than that just thought i would ask some genreal questions on what people think of the idea, and ideas for a colour scheme ( not sure bout having blue librarian in blood angels army, any pictures of blood angels armys with a blue librarian so i can see what it looks like in the army would be appreciated). fivepointedstar
it would be easier to use the grey knight jusicar for that. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208630-librarian-conversion-idea-any-thoughts/#findComment-2489549 Share on other sites
fivepointedstar
the ec model's left shoulder pad gets in the way if you were to make a phychic hood. the GK justicar helm comes pre wired. and has tome icons. you can use existing sword, or use different. but the wrist mounter SB is a nice addition, or you could chop it off to add a different weapon, or convert to a combi-(X) weapon. hope this info helped. Mudpuppet
Indeed it has, very helpful indeed. I have to admit i wasnt planning on adding a psychic hood was just gonna pretend that his wreath was some more compact old age one or something. By convert i was gonna stick a jump pack on him and give him a plasma pistol and paint him librarian colours. Im intrigued by your justicar idea though. fivepointedstar
the arm is really easy to saw off. if your wanting to add the plasma pistol. or you could file off the front to the storm bolter an sculpt a plama gun to it a "count as" combi- plasma on one half side. also easy but more slightly difficult. plus the pose of te justicar he's at a stride just like the leg work of the EC. and if you add a jp it would look like he's landing to a run. Brother-Captain Lucius
Funnily enough I did a Libby conversion about 2 weeks ago with the Justicar model. I can have pics up Friday or saturday night if you want? Firepower
An old one I did a long time ago off the EC model, some heavy GS work involved but it doesnt have to be quite so complicated. http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz201/Wills40k/DIY/IMG_2356.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz201/Wills40k/DIY/IMG_2349.jpg http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/zz201/Wills40k/DIY/IMG_2358.jpg The sword was from a fantasy elf mage I believe. The one real muck-up was that I made the hood a bit too big in the back, and the JP wouldnt sit flush, so its kinda at a weird angle. Mudpuppet
That is a brilliant piece mate, the sword really looks unique. I wouldnt have even noticed the jump pack was tilted unless you mentioned it, great work on modelling a hood.
