Fred Johnson the 3rd jr
The ones in the pack are cool and all, but the guys seem to be either yelling or grimacing, which gets a little old. Are there any bare heads out there which fit on marines which display other emotions? Shock, horror, confusion and/or mental retardation, happiness, despair? I am pretty new to this game so I don't know what else is out there. Kassill
Well, I dont know about mental retardation... but some other good bare heads would be the ones that come in the Chaos Marauder kits I believe. Take a look around on some of the bits sites. They usually have good deals on stuff like that, and you might find some other ones that work too. stinkenheim
old catachan heads looked rather odd, some in particular were hideous. maybe you might want to check them. Empire Flagallents (can't be bothered to check spelling) have a few bare heads with random beards/scars etc and they have a variety of rather manic expressions. Chaos marauder horsemen (the normal marauders only have 2 bare heads, one ok the other terrible) but they need a bit of work fitting onto marine armour. Good amount ofheads though and quite savage. Imperial Guard command squad has a couple of scarred heads, but they are obviously a bit weedier than nomal marine heads. Then there are a few random companies, Maximini do some barbarian heads. Hasselfre minido some bare heads to, but I think you need to sculpt hair onto some of them. Avatars fo War have a nice bare head on a chaos marauder but its £11 for the model... I got it for the head but not many people will. Marshal Wilhelm
I use them and the SW young heads for my Neophytes. The BA range gives you some variation. They are my most handsome Neophytes ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208778-bare-heads-other-than-the-ones-from-space-wolves-pack/#findComment-2491298 Share on other sites

hmk17
You don't get much in the range of emotion on any space marine head. Stinkenheim has you covered on a lot of great options. Hemal
A couple of the masters of the Chapter have really good facial expressions, very stern or noble, and you get the bodies to convert into really rocking wolf guard as well.... The_Betrayed_Spacewolf
aye, in the game of 40k you dont really see many emotions on the space marines, mostly just angry faces. then again their homicidal killing machines hell bent on obeying the emperor! happiness (to some extent) fear and other emotions just have no place on the battlefield of the far off future where its all grim and dark. JamesI
If you can find the old Mordheim mercenary box, there were several good space wolfy heads there (some of which may have been reused in later Empire boxes but I'm not sure) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208778-bare-heads-other-than-the-ones-from-space-wolves-pack/#findComment-2491826 Share on other sites
