longshot7
So this last weekend was the Annual Siegeworld Mega Game here in St. Louis. We had about 20 Players and approximately 350,000 points in painted miniatures,. The organizer is still trying to get lists from a few people to get a final total. And because this is the internet and if there are no pictures it didn't happen . http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1060.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1059.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1061.jpg This is my army all 30,000 points http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1056.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1054.jpg http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1055.jpg All packed up and ready to head home. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e367/gregpa/100_1063.jpg and here is a link to the Siegeworld gallery. http://siegeworld.com/?q=gallery&g2_itemId=11863 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208810-siegeworld/ Share on other sites
H.C.118
Impressive. I was going to go, but then school kept me. I believe that they still did get the world record game though, right? longshot7
ya as far as we can tell this was the largest game played on a contiguous battlefield. We had just over 1000 painted "tank/monstrous" models on the field as well that is probably a record to but that one is harder to judge. If some one can come up with a bigger game it will give us a new goal to shoot for next year. I am sure some of the guys in California could do it if they would push some tables together or play on the floor. I personally would to get this game up off the floor but that would cost more. H.C.118
Hmm. I do participate in a monthly apoc. club so it may be doable. I'll speak to the organizer, see what he thinks. longshot7
Meh Seen bigger.... Just kidding :) Needs more Emperor class titans... oh and more flyers ;) you are absolutely right. we plan on having 3 to 5 emperors and many more fliers next year. Our Ork player had to pull out at the last minute and I realized that I needed some air cover for my titans. I think that it is silly that a flier can get within 12" of a titans to be inside your void shields. But at least with siegeworld you hgave your own rules so things like Emperors actuallly have hydra cannons if I'm correct... this is the groups that has the rules for all the EPIC weapons and options such as the assault-ram that fits on the titans arm? (I forget its name Corvus maybe?) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208810-siegeworld/#findComment-2492346 Share on other sites
longshot7
We have in the past used those rules but mostly before Apocalypse came out we try to keep to GW Data Sheets where available and encourage people to develop datasheets for anything else they want to use. By the way we got the official count and it is 382,000 points of painted models, 433,000 if you count all models, 1,100 "tank/monstrous" models, and a grand total of 6500 miniatures total. GhostHand
Allright - fess up - how many models got stepped on and broken!? That's an incredible amount of models. Steven -Grim- M
Super impressive, I'd love to go to the next one but even with the Chaos Titan I'm looking to pick up I'm not quite at the 18,000 painted points the average person brought down! longshot7
There were a lot of people with small armies there we were sorely lacking in chaos players somehow. with a chaos titan you would be more than a welcome addition to the game. I'd love to see pictures of your titan BTW Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/208810-siegeworld/#findComment-2503454 Share on other sites
