Daemon Army W.I.P

So a friend of mine has taught how to play Daemons well, and i have alot of them. so ive been working on them and thought i would share with you the results.

 

So here is the first Bloodletter.

Now, the quality is no where near my dads (guess who that is). i didnt want the traditonal colors for each god (red for the bloodletters and so on) so i went to coolminiornot and found an alternative scheme (and shamelessly took it) and i like it so far. i have 39 more Bloodletters, 10 Flamers, 2 Soul Grinders, A Herald of Khorne on chariot and a Daemon Prince to paint. and after that i will expand from there (thats only 1500 points ;)) and i will be posting more pictures soon of the Daemon Prince im working on as i write this. Comments and criticizm are welcome.

The model looks nice. I like the alt scheme a lot actually. Green looks pretty cool. Only complaint is the base, seems unfinished but might just be a theme you are going for. If that is the case then disregard.

 

Looking forward to seeing more of these.

That is a great scheme and the metals look nice and warm.

I do agree about the base, how about painting the side of the base in a different colour, maybe white, dark brown or a dark green?

The base i wanted to be snow and i need to put another layer on the Bloodletter i think.

the models with bigger bases will get other things on their bases (dead vostroyans, sawn bits, etc.)

im not a big fan of painting the sides of bases, but i might make an exception for this army.

the Daemon Prince is nearly finished, so i should have the pictures up later today :P

Ok, so things have taken longer then expected, and ive had to repair the Daemon Prince. so i will have pics up soonish, maybe tonight if im lucky. i dont want this thread to die, so i thought id give a quick update.

Ok, so after a long hiatus i'm back with new pictures :D

 

So here is the first Bloodletter squad, i decided to rebase the original one. So here you can see i put a bit more time into the basing.

And, sadly, the Daemon Prince is beyond repair. it was broken badly in a freak accident including stuff falling. So may he/she/it rest in pieces...

 

And now that i have more time to work on them, i will update (with pictures) more often.

Ok, so here is the demon Prince (the old on is being repaired, it wont look nearly as good though :\)

I must say, i hated building it, i had to pin sooooo many peices together.

So there are some gaps i need to fill, but ill get to that later.
