Hello everybody,

Thought i'd post what i have been doing lately off and on switching between this and my 2nd para red devil guard army.

I know , the last one is a bit dark, but i hope to hear what everyone thinks of these miniatures which are part of my new deathwing based army.

That colour scheme works really well, u did a good job on them. Keep up the good work :D .

I agree, that's a really good scheme! Looks well painted too. Your Marines will really dominate the table, and I'd never have thought green weapon casings would complement any scheme but they work here.

i'm not a big fan of the "halved" colour scheme, but you executed it nicely.

Nice colour scheme, the bases look too plain though, you could add some more colour to them, add some grass or a stone or two would make them so perfect.

I painted some orange last night, I wasn't thrilled with it at first, but I think it grows on you.

 

Will we be seeing more of these fellows?

@WarriorFish: Green is a nice complementary color to orange and blue , so it works even better with both those.

 

@Tyron: Remember, these are works in progress the Landraider will recieve heavy weathering and the bases will be based , but i'm not yet certain what type of base i will do.

 

@Muskie: orange is't so difficult , just start with an orange brown color as your base color ( bestial brown or vermin brown) and from there blend up towards normal oranges and then to fiery orange or blazing orange.
